Tchouaméni close to signing new Real Madrid contract
The French midfielder is expected to sign a contract extension through 2031 after Real Madrid made clear he was never available for transfer.
Real Madrid is on the verge of tying down Aurélien Tchouaméni to a new long-term contract.
Club executives have never considered selling the France international, sources have told AS, despite interest from several teams monitoring his situation.
In recent hours, talks between Tchouaméni and Real Madrid have accelerated, as first reported by journalist Fabrice Hawkins. Unless an unexpected issue arises, the two sides have reached an agreement in principle on a new contract that would keep the midfielder at the Santiago Bernabéu through 2031.
