This pub was voted the best soccer bar in the United States and is where die-hard fans will be watching the World Cup

In terms of publicity, it doesn’t get much better than this. We are just about a month out from the World Cup starting in Canada, Mexico and the USA and the best soccer pub in the country has just been named.

Four Courts back and better than ever

If you are in the Washington D.C. area, congratulations. You have the best soccer pub in the entire country, but good luck getting a reservation at Ireland’s Four Courts. The pub, which is located in Arlington, Virginia won the annual contest put on by social media soccer pundits the Men in Blazers.

This is a bit of a comeback story for the bar that was closed down for the last four years. Back in 2022 the bar was involved in a traffic accident in which the drive of a car was suffering a medical emergency and crashed into the pub. That shut down Four Courts for a long while, but the community rallied and brought the bar back bigger, better and stronger than ever.

Four Courts were honored last month, with the Men in Blazers showing up to present the award of Best Soccer Bar 2026. Not only did the MIB stars show up, but USMNT legend Clint Dempsey was there to present the bar with the award and knock back a pint or two.

It is a soccer themed, one of very few, if not the only one in the D.C. area. Whenever and wherever there is a match, soccer is on the TV. It doesn’t matter if it’s a match across the world that starts in the wee hours of the morning, the staff wakes up early and opens up in time for kickoff.

It’s an old school, Irish pub style bar with massive TVs everywhere so there is not a bad seat in the house. It’s not the biggest or the fanciest bar, but it’s an old school establishment that has brought a community together and live, breathe, drink, and eat soccer.
