Tigres in advanced talks for Juan Brunetta
Sources close to the club have told AS Mexico that the talks between the club and Santos Laguna for the Argentinian are very advanced.
Tigres are already planning for next season and could be set to land Juan Brunetta. Sources close to the club have told AS Mexico that the talks between the club and Santos Laguna for the Argentinian are very advanced, however, the issue of the fee involved has slowed the process down.
The Mexican club are not willing to break the bank again as they spent close to $30 million last winter with the arrivals of Fernando Gorriarán, Diego Lainez and Nicolás Ibáñez, before going on to sign Ozziel Herrera and Marcelo Flores in the summer.
Season with Santos Laguna
The talented South American attacker is valued at around $8 million, according to Transfermarkt. For Santos this season, Brunetta, 26, scored 10 goals and registered 11 assists. Despite this, his numbers were not enough for the club, who eventually suffered relegation.
