Timothy Weah has officially joined Juventus from LOSC Lille. The USMNT player, who spent the last four years at Ligue 1 outfit Lille, has signed a five-year deal with Juve.

Weah completed his medical on Thursday and signed his contract soon after. The American winger only had one year remaining on his contract with the French side and moves to test himself in another league.

Ligue 1 winner

In his spell in France, the 23-year-old scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 107 games. In 2021, he was part of the side that won the Ligue 1 title under Christophe Galtier, the fourth league title in the club’s history.

Previous spells

Weah played for PSG and Celtic before joining Lille and has been capped by the US 29 times. He also featured four times at the 2022 World Cup last winter, scoring one goal.

His father, George Weah, won the Serie A title twice at AC Milan. Timothy will now be hoping to do the same with Juventus.
