When is the 2026/27 UCL league phase?

The 36-team league phase will run from September 8, 2026, to January 27, 2027. As in the format’s previous two seasons, the top eight finishers will qualify automatically for the last 16, while the teams between ninth and 24th will have to negotiate a play-in round to reach the knockout stage proper.
