USMNT now knows Final Four of the CONCACAF Nations League: teams, dates

With the quarterfinal second legs now complete, everything is now set for the semifinals.

Following the conclusion of the quarterfinals on Tuesday, with Mexico’s decisive 4-0 victory over Honduras in Toluca, the lineup for the 2024-25 CONCACAF Nations League Final Four is now set. Canada, the United States, Panama, and Mexico will compete at SoFi Stadium in March 2025 to vie for the championship.

Canada and USA with eyes on the prize

The standout team of the quarterfinals was that of Jesse Marsch, The Maple Leafs, secured victories in both legs against Suriname, with a 4-0 aggregate score. This earned Canada six points and a +4 goal difference, making them the top-seeded team heading into next year’s semifinals.

Following closely behind is Mauricio Pochettino’s United States team. The USMNT also claimed two wins, defeating Jamaica with a 5-2 aggregate score. With six points and a +3 goal difference, the US secures the second seed for the Final Four, which will take place at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, California.

The third-ranked team heading into the semifinals is Thomas Christiansen’s Panama. Los Canaleros defeated Costa Rica in the first leg and secured a 2-2 draw in the return leg, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate score. Panama accumulated four points with a goal difference of +1.

Finally, despite a dominant 4-0 victory over Honduras in the second leg (4-2 on aggregate), Mexico finishes as the fourth seed. El Tri managed only three points during the quarterfinal stage, leaving them at the bottom of the Final Four rankings.
