USMNT star linked with Premier League move after $35M bid
Fulham are one of a number of Premier League teams believed to be interested in the PSV star.
After impressing across the last two seasons with PSV, Ricardo Pepi is attracting attention from a number of Premier League teams.
The USMNT striker has been in Europe since moving to FC Augsberg at the age of 19. Now 23 years old, Pepi is being pursued by teams in England’s top flight.
GOAL reports that Fulham remain interested in a January move despite a recent injury sustained in a 5-1 win over Excelsior. Pepi was forced to undergo surgery after breaking his arm while poking home a goal for PSV. He is expected to be sidelined for two months.
Fulham have previously tabled a $35 million bid for Pepi, which was rejected by PSV. Last year, West Ham United had a loan-to-buy offer turned down.

With less than six months to go until the 2026 World Cup, USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino is yet to decide on his first-choice striker.
Folarin Balogun has been the most regular starter under Pochettino but there are other candidates to lead the line this summer.
Pepi has an impressive record of 13 goals in his 34 international appearances to date. Haji Wright and Josh Sergent have also staked claims with performances in England, as has Derby County striker Patrick Agyemang during his time in the Championship.
From MLS, the likes of Brian White, Jordan Morris and Jesús Ferreira have also received call-ups in recent years. However a starting berth for the 2026 World Cup may be a stretch for any of those domestic-based options.
