Viral TikTok accurately predicts Champions League with eggs

In TikTok eggs we trust! Wait, what?

Look, I am not saying you should put your faith in an egg to determine the winner of the UEFA Champions League. I’m just saying that these particular eggs haven’t been wrong about a winner yet.

Viral TikTok egg video accurately predicts Champions League thus far

Manchester City advanced to the Champions League final yesterday with their 4-0 win over Real Madrid in the second leg of the semifinals (5-1 aggregate) and Inter Milan advanced over AC Milan a few days before that. And that made the most recent of accurate predictions by TikTok user and soccer fan @lavezzi1893.

The funny thing about his predictions is that he smashed eggs together to decide which teams would advance. He gathered up some eggs, each with the logo of the teams in the Champions League. Then, he smashed together the two teams facing each other, starting with Real Madrid and Chelsea, saying the first egg to break would be eliminated. He accurately predicted that Madrid would beat Chelsea, City would beat Bayern Munich, AC Milan would beat Napoli, Inter Milan would beat Benfica, that Inter would beat AC Milan and now that City would beat Madrid in the semifinals.

The only game left now is the final. If the egg is to be trusted, it’s not looking good for City. The egg predicts that Inter will steal the title hopes away from City in the Champions League final. Should we really be putting our faith in an egg? If Inter pulls off a win against City on June 10, don’t tell me you won’t at least consider it next time.
