What is next for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico and Sevilla in LaLiga: what games are left
While the Merengues caress the League title, the fight to enter the Champions League is hotter than ever. This is what remains for the top four teams.
With LaLiga entering its final stretch, each point is worth gold, and each game is a final. Five teams battle each other for three spots in next year’s Champions League, while Real Madrid, well ahead in the league table, looks ahead and wonders if they can sing the song of champions. AS has analyzed what is coming up for the four teams that currently have a spot in the next Champions League place from here to the final game.
Real Madrid
Three games at home and two away. The next rival will be Espanyol at the Bernabéu, what seems an easy game for the Merengues. Levante, and Betis, are different. The team from Valencia needs to win to escape relegations, while the Andaluz team still have options earn a spot in next year‘s Champions. The game against Atletico brings whispers. The Colchoneros might have to perform the famous “corridor” for Real Madrid as they could arrive at this game having already won the league

Xavi’s men have the ace up their sleeve of having a game postponed, at home against Rayo. An opportunity to cut distances with Real Madrid by adding three more points. The game will be this Sunday. In addition, they will have to face three games at home (Mallorca, Celta and Villarreal, this one on the last day) and three away, first visiting the Reale Arena, then Villamarín and finally, the Coliseum.

In addition, Lopetegui’s boys will have to make three visits, one to the Ciutat de Levante, another to La Cerámica in Villarreal, who might be thinking of European glory, and another to the Wanda Metropolitano, a direct rival for a Champions spot

A team with real chances to make it to the Champions.
