Pachuca has done it. The team from the capital of the state of Hidalgo is the champion of the Apertura 2022 by defeating, in emphatic style, Toluca. Guillermo Almada was finally crowned in our country and gave Los Tuzos their trophy number seven.

In the first leg, Pachuca practically secured the trophy, as a devastating 5-1 made things very difficult for Toluca, and for the second leg, the dream of a comeback also vanished with it ending 3-1. And with that, having a combined score of 10 goals between the two games, it made it the Mexican final with the joint-second highest number of goals scored, tied with the 1998 Summer Tournament Final.
