When is the draw for the 2023/24 Champions League round of 16?

We now know the identity of the teams through to the Champions League knockout stages. They’ll find out who they’re facing in the last 16 in the coming days.

With the 2023/24 Champions League group stage now complete, all eyes turn to next week’s draw for the round of 16.

When is the UCL round-of-16 draw?

The draw will take place at UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday 18 December 2023. The event is scheduled to get underway at 12 noon local time, which in the US is 6am ET/3am PT.

Who has qualified for the round of 16?

The draw will be streamed live on UEFA’s official website. Viewers in the United States will also be able to watch on ViX and Paramount+.

How will the UCL draw work?

Each group winner will be drawn against a runner-up. Clubs from the same national federation will be kept apart, as will sides that faced each other in the group stage.

When are the UCL round-of-16 ties?

The first legs of the round-of-16 ties will be played on 13, 14, 20 and 21 February 2024, with the returns following on 5, 6, 12 and 13 March 2024.
