After a month and a half out of action, Guillermo Ochoa is now ready to return to action. It was in a match against Honduras, in the first leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals, when Ochoa was involved in a collision with striker Choco Lozano, however, the 38-year-old goalkeeper is now ready to return and he could do so against Juventus.

When will Ochoa return to action?

Salernitana return to Serie A action on Sunday 7 January when they take on La Vecchia Signora. According to reports in Italy, Ochoa has accelerated his recovery process and could be in the starting lineup this weekend after recovering from the shoulder problem.

Ochoa’s last appearance for Salernitana was on 10 November 2023, when the Mexican goalkeeper’s side drew 2-2 against Sassuolo in Serie A. If he doesn’t play on Sunday, he could feature against Napoli on Saturday 13 January when they visit the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
