Where and when are the UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference League finals being held?

We’ve reached the semi-final stage of the three UEFA club competitions as the 12 participating sides eye glory and European silverware.

Four sides remain in contention for each of the three major UEFA club competitions with this week seeing the first leg games of the semifinals.

Tuesday night saw Real Madrid and Man City play out a pulsating 1-1 draw in the Spanish capital with Inter claiming first blood in the Milan derby with two early goals edging the ‘nerazzurri’ closer to the final.

In the Europa League, Juventus face Sevilla in Turin for the first leg with Roma looking to add to their 2021-22 Conference League win as they welcome Bayer Leverkusen for the first leg.

The Conference League first legs see games taking place in London as West Ham face AZ and in Florenece as the ‘Viola’ host Basel.

The second legs for all three competitions will be staged next week with the Champions League games being played on Tuesday and Wednesday before the finalists of the Europa and Conference Leagues being discovered on Thursday night.

Champions League final

Where: The biggest game in European club football this season will take place at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium. This is the third attempt to hold the game at a venue following Covid-19 related issues over previous seasons in a stadium that is fondly remembered among Liverpool fans when the Reds staged a famous comeback in 2005 against Milan.

Capacity: 76,092

When: The showpiece final will be staged on 10 June with a 3pm (ET) start.

Europa League final

Where: The Europa League final is the first of the three UEFA marquee games to be played this year and it will be played at Budapest’s Puskas Arena. This new ground was build on the site of the old Puskas Stadium and hosted four Euro 2020 matches. The stadium is also the venue for Hungarian Cup Final games and hosts international fixtures for the Hungarian side.

Capacity: 67,215

When: The Europa League final goes ahead on Wednesday, 31 May with a 3pm (ET) kick-off.

Conference League final

Where: Now in its third season, the newest of the UEFA competitions will be staged at the Fortuna Arena in Prague. The stadium is home to Czech giants Slavia Prague and is often used to host Czech Republic international fixtures.

Capacity: 19,730

When: The 2023 Conference League final kicks off in Prague on 7 June with a 3pm (ET) start.
