Chivas is one of the most historic clubs in Mexican football. Its tradition of playing with only Mexican players has made it even more representative of the country and fans from all over the world, including actors, actresses and other celebrities who have recognised that.

Here we take a look at some of the celebrities who are fans of Chivas.

Snoop Dogg

The American rapper has made his love for Mexico clear and is a follower of Liga MX football. Apparently, he supports Chivas, one of Mexico’s biggest clubs.

Usain Bolt

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is a fan of Chivas. In 2016, the athlete was part of a talk show with the sports newspaper Record, where he was given a Chivas shirt. His liking for the club began the moment he found out that they only played with Mexican players.

Morrissey

Stephen Patrick Morrissey, better known as “Morrissey”, has also declared himself a Mexican football fan. The former vocalist of the band ‘The Smiths’ has jumped on stage on different occasions with the Chivas jersey.

Armin van Buuren

One of the world’s best-known DJs, Armin van Buuren, is fascinated by Mexican traditions, culture and food. He has been seen wearing the famous red and white jersey.
