Who are the top scorers in the Champions League 2025-26?
Anthony Gordon joins Kylian Mbappé, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland among the tournament’s leading goal scorers.

There are some familiar names among the top goalscorers in the 2025-26 Champions League, although one less expected player has shot up the leaderboard thanks to his performance in the first leg of the knockout phase playoffs.
Gordon joins elite company
Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, who scored six times in the league phase, netted four goals in his team’s 6-1 win over Qarabag on Wednesday, all in the first half. That brings him to 10 goals for the campaign, making him just the second Englishman in Champions League history to reach double figures in a single season.
The first was Harry Kane, who scored 11 in 2024-25.
Kane and Haaland chasing
Kane is also among the leading marksmen this season, with eight goals, just ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who has seven.
Both players face a slight disadvantage, as neither Bayern Munich nor Manchester City are involved in the playoffs, giving them two fewer games to add to their tallies.
Mbappé leads the way
All three still trail the man at the top. Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé scored 13 times in seven league-phase appearances.
The French attacker is competing in the playoffs but did not score in the first leg of Madrid’s tie against Benfica. He will have another opportunity to add to his goal haul in next Wednesday’s return leg.
Only Kylian Mbappe (13 goals, one assist) has more goal involvements in this season's Champions League than Anthony Gordon, who has 12 (10 goals, two assists).
