Toronto FC has parted ways with head coach Bob Bradley and technical director Mike Sorber. The decision comes after a disappointing season that saw the team secure only three victories in 20 games.

Since taking the reins in November last year, Bradley has struggled to lead his team to success, leaving them languishing in second-to-last place in the Eastern Conference standings, just ahead of Inter Miami. With a record of 3-7-10, it’s clear that changes needed to be made to turn things around for this struggling squad.

With the recent firing of Bob Bradley, the question on every Toronto FC fan’s mind is: who will step up to take on the role of head coach?

Terry Dunfield has been appointed as the interim coach for the club.

With over two decades of professional football under his belt, Terry Dunfield is a seasoned veteran of the sport. Having played for Shrewsbury Town in England and both Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer, Dunfield brings a wealth of experience to the field.

Bill Manning, Toronto’s president, said in a statement. “Bob has been a consummate professional with Toronto FC and we thank him for his passion and tireless work during his time here. We are all disappointed that we were not able to achieve the results we expected,” Toronto FC president Bill Manning said in a statement.

Bob Bradley is a well-traveled coach, having plied his trade in various countries across the globe. Bradley has left his mark on the beautiful game from England to Egypt, Norway to the Netherlands. In addition, he has also managed five different clubs in Major League Soccer, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as a coach.

From 2006 to 2011, he led the U.S. men’s national team as head coach, successfully steering them to the knockout round of the 2010 World Cup.
