23 World Cup squads confirmed, when will the remainder including Argentina, England, Mexico, USA and Spain be announced
There are just 21 days outstanding until the World Cup commences with participating nations confirming the 26 man squad lists on a daily basis.


Today it was the turn of Egypt, Germany, Senegal and Czechia who confirmed their initial squad lists of the national team players set to participate at the forthcoming 2026 World Cup with the 48 team event set to be staged in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Some of the higher profile nations such as Brazil, France, Belgium and Germany have confirmed their lists with over 20 of the 48 participating nations revealed what players will be destined for North America.
FIFA has set a final deadline of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, for all 48 participating nations to submit their definitive 26-man rosters.
Already announced:
Germany: Julian Nagelsmann delivered his squad today (May 21), locking in the likes of Wirtz, Musiala, and Kimmich, while making the ruthless decision to leave out Ter Stegen and Gnabry.
Brazil: Carlo Ancelotti has already stunned the world by officially naming his squad, headlined by a massive international recall for Neymar after his long absence.
South Korea: Captain Son Heung-min (now playing in LA) leads a squad fully locked in by manager Hong Myung-bo.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: Made history by becoming the absolute first nation to announce their squad on May 11, featuring 40-year-old veteran Edin Džeko.

Manager Javier Aguirre took a unique hybrid route, locking in 12 domestic Liga MX players early to clear them for the tournament, with the remaining overseas stars currently being integrated with the final squad to be locked in on June 1st.

The 2026 World Cup gets underway on June 11 in Mexico City as El Tri entertain South Africa with the tournament wrapping up in NY/NJ on July 19 when we discover which nation has secured the title.
