Thibaut Courtois injury for Belgium: What happened to Courtois?
The Real Madrid goalkeeper was replaced in the second half against Spain. Senne Lammens came on in his place.
Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was forced off with a suspected thigh injury during the World Cup quarter-final against Spain.
Courtois pulled up with a thigh complaint shortly before the second-half hydration break and was taken off soon after. Manchester united goalkeeper Senne Lammens came on in his place, making his first World cup appearance at a crucial stage in the competition.
Spain took the lead with a Fabian Ruiz goal in the first half but Belgium struck back soon after, Charle De Ketelaere nodding home from close range.
