World Cup 2026 final tickets surge 143,000% from Qatar 2022
Listings on FIFA’s resale platform include tickets priced at $2.2 million, highlighting a dramatic rise since Qatar 2022.

Four tickets for the 2026 World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey are on sale for $2,299,998.85 each, Sky News has reported.
The tickets for the game on July 19 are listed on FIFA’s official resale and exchange marketplace website. FIFA applies a 15% fee on both the buyer and seller, meaning it would make almost $690,000 if any of the tickets are sold at that price.
A $9 million day out in New Jersey
If you are tempted and want to head along with three friends or family members with equally deep pockets, you would need to shell out just under $9.2 million. FIFA would collect more than $2.75 million from that total.
Four tickets for this summer’s World Cup final in the U.S. have gone on sale for more than $2million each.

The most expensive ticket for the final initially put on sale by FIFA was priced at $10,990, almost seven times more than the equivalent ticket for the 2022 World Cup final.
How much were tickets for the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar?
The top price for the Argentina vs. France final at Lusail Stadium in Qatar was $1,600. Resale tickets, when obtained through FIFA’s official portal, were capped at face value.
The upcoming tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico will be the first in which that cap is not in place. As a result, resale tickets listed on FIFA’s official marketplace are 143,000% more expensive than four years ago (be wary of any other figures quoted by President Trump or Robert F. Kennedy Jr).
It was widely reported that the most expensive seat for the Qatar final on other ticketing platforms reached approximately $33,000. That felt incredibly expensive at the time but now looks modest in comparison to the top price for 2026, which is almost 6,900% higher.
