AC Milan have announced the signing of USMNT midfielder Yunus Musah on a five-year deal.

In a statement on Friday, Milan said: “AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Yunus Musah on a permanent basis. The midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2028.

“Born in New York on 29 November 2002, Yunus came through the Arsenal academy before transferring to Valencia in 2019. For the Spaniards, he played one season with the B team before being promoted to the First Team. He made his debut in September 2020, eventually making 108 appearances with 5 goals. He has earned 27 appearances with the USA National Team, with whom he has won 2 CONCACAF Nations League titles.”

Joining Pulisic at San Siro

The 20-year-old completed his medical earlier on Friday before finalising his move to San Siro.

The USMNT player had expressed his desire to leave Valencia to join Milan before the end of the summer transfer window but the clubs had been unable to reach an agreement.

After several weeks of negotiations, Yunus Musah finally joins fellow US international Christian Pulisic at the Serie A club.
