Yunus Musah not leaving Valencia despite high profile interest
Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Inter Milan are amongst the clubs that are interested in signing the United States men’s national team midfielder.
Yunus Musah showcased his talent with the United States at the 2022 World Cup and several top tier clubs in Europe have been keeping an eye on him for some time now. Valencia is aware that the 20-year-old will not remain at Mestalla for much longer, but they expect him to remain at least for the remainder of the current season.
Musah to remain with Los Che
It has been reported that Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Inter Milan are keen on signing the La Liga sides’ brightest young star. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Yunus Musah ‘seems committed’ to finish the season with Valencia despite the interest of the teams mentioned before with the winter transfer window in full force.
The Gunners are reportedly in pole position to acquire the United States men’s national team midfielder for the next campaign. Musah first arrived at Arsenal’s academy in 2012, at the age of nine, and made an immediate impression with the then head coach Trevor Bumstead. Now Arsenal are eager to bring him back.
Musah had a breakout season in 2022 with club and country. The 20-year-old has been with Valencia since 2019 and he made his debut with the first team in 2020. Since then he has established himself as an important player in the midfield for Los Che and this year he has made two assists in 13 La Liga appearances.
