Watch: Atlético fans burn João Felix shirt over plaque near Metropolitano
Atlético Madrid fans spit on João Felix’s plaque and set fire to his shirt ahead of his return to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium for the Barcelona clash.
Update:
João Felix left Atlético Madrid on loan for Barcelona in the summer. That clearly did not sit well with the Atleti fans, who spit on his plaque near the stadium and set his shirt on fire on top of the plaque as well, just ahead of their clash with Felix’s new La Liga team. Felix had the last laugh though as he had a goal against Atleti and his side won 3-0.
