Dream start for Bagnis, shattered by Nadal

Bagnis, 99th placed in the world, was playing only his sixth Grand Slam match, and he had a dream start, breaking Nadal's serve in the opening game and holding his own to move into a 2-0 lead. But his dreams of ending Nadal's bid for a record-extending 10th Roland Garros title were soon smashed into tiny pieces, as Nadal only gave up another four games as he cruised to victory, 6-3, 6-0, 6-3.

Nadal becomes one of only eight players in the history of men's tennis to reach the 200 grand slam win milestone.

Nadal seeking to reclaim his Roland Garros crown

Nadal was beaten in the quarter-finals last year by Novak Djokovic, but so far he's been on sterling form as he bids to reclaim his crown, dropping only nine games in two matches.

He will next play either Frenchman Nicolas Mahut or Marcel Granollers of Spain for a place in the fourth round.
