Casillas congratulates 4-time European champion 'SuperJavi'
Posting a message of support for figure-skater Javi Fernandez on Twitter, Casillas congratulated the skater's four consecutive European title conquest after his latest gold.
"What a legend my countryman Javier de Navalcruz (Ávila)!! Congratulations champ!! Champion of Europe, what a hero", was the message Iker Casillas posted for Spanish figure skating sensation Javier Fernandez, who won his fourth European championship in a row by nearly 60 points in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Casillas' family comes from Ávila, as does that of Fernandez, Iker acknowledged the huge achievement of the skater who scored a personal best and a European record of 302.77 points to take gold at the Ondrej Nepela stadium Bratislava, Slovakia.
“I’m so proud to be able to make history for my country. Now I’m aiming for my fifth title, and then five more!” said Fernandez.
