Benzema crucial to any national team - Thiago Silva
The Paris Saint-Germain defender has told RTL that the Frenchman, who could miss Euro 2016, would be fundamental to any international outfit.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva believes that Real Madrid’s French striker Karim Benzema, who could miss this summer’s European Championship, would be a vital figure in any international side.
Benzema was suspended from the France team indefinitely in December after being placed under formal investigation for his alleged involvement in a plot to blackmail Les Bleus team-mate Mathieu Valbuena over a sex tape.
"We all know about Benzema’s quality; I think that a player like him would be crucial to any national team," Silva declared in an interview with RTL.
The 31-year-old Brazilian also praised Benzema's "great technique and fantastic positional sense".
And Silva concluded: "I think he’d be a fantastic player for any team. I don’t know what [France coach Didier] Deschamps thinks about the situation, but I believe that he’s crucial."
