Casillas invites Piqué to watch UCL final "together, eating crisps"
The two Spain team mates exhanged some good-natured banter on Twitter: "So, where will you be watching the Champions League final?"
Iker Casillas and Gerard Piqué exchanged a few dry but good-natured messages on Twitter in which they discussed where and when they would be watching the Champions League final. "Any predictions for the Champions League final, Iker?", the Barcelona defender asked his Spain team mate. The Porto keeper came back almost immediately, chuckling: "Why don't we watch it together at the RFEF with some crisps and drinks?".
The discussion didn't stop there, with Piqué ribbing the notoriously 'thrifty' Casillas. "Well, if you are going to pay for it, it'll be an even bigger feat than winning the Champions League!", Piqué tittered in response, with accompanying emojis. Casillas wouldn't be drawn into making a forecast for the final, in Milan in May but says he'l be happy as long as Barcelona are not one of the finalists.
Casillas: winning EURO 2016 will be "difficult, but not impossible"
"First of all I have to make sure I am among the 23 in the list. After that, it would be epic if we were able to win the third consecutive European Championship. Difficult, but not impossible!", Casillas said today. The Porto keeper sees a number of favourites in this edition of the tournament. "I fancy France; Ital always deserve respect; Germany are the reigning world champions; and Croatia could be the surprise package...".
