Cristiano Ronaldo spoke about the current season and his perfect goal during a publicity event in Madrid today.

The Portuguese striker commented on his goal scoring achievement this season stating: “This is a result of years of hard work and dedication. I want to keep the momentum despite things being complicated in the league campaign. We’re still in the Champions League and that’s a competition that motivates everyone connected with the club, especially as no-one has won as many European Cup titles as we have. So all is not lost”.

He also focused on next week’s Champions League rivals, AS Roma and claimed that with home support he fancied Madrid’s chances but at the same time they could take nothing for granted despite the first leg score-line.

He also observed that: “Talent means nothing without hard work. I want to keep up my momentum and be able to win trophies for the team as well as individual prizes so that my fans can be happy”.

The player from Madeira was asked about his dream goal and responded stating: “I’ve scored some decent goals in my career. Maybe dribbling by the 11 players in the other team and scoring would be the ultimate goal, that however is more of a Play Station goal though”.
