Aronimink Golf Club is getting the best of the PGA Championship field again on Friday. Many big names are heading home early

What is the cut line at the 2026 PGA Championship? Adam Scott, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland and others heading home early

The course outside of Philadelphia is playing much tougher than golfers expected. Thursday afternoon’s wind made it hard to score and Friday isn’t any easier for the golfers going off early. Huge, undulating greens, dense rough and deceivingly narrow fairways are causing problems for the world’s best golfers.
What is the cut line at the 2026 PGA Championship?
The top 70 players and ties will be able to carry on playing this weekend. Only the best and bravest will make it to Saturday as conditions are tough out there again today and causing havoc. Par is the golfers’ friend and making birdies is extremely difficult as Aronimink is showing its teeth in true Philly style.
The projected cut line is currently +2, but expect it to go to +3 or +4 as play progresses today.
