VALENCIA-ATLÉTICO
Good news for Atleti: Carrasco set for comeback at Mestalla
The Belgian international is available for Sunday's LaLiga clash with Valencia, while Diego Godín also appears fit to face Gary Neville's men.
Atlético Madrid trained at their Cerro del Espino base on Friday as coach Diego Simeone continues to ready his outfit for their LaLiga trip to take on Valencia this weekend.
There was good news for Los Rojiblancos' boss as defender Diego Godín, who was substituted during Tuesday's league win over Real Sociedad with a muscle niggle, went through his paces alongside his team-mates and appears fit to face Los Che on Sunday (20:30 CET).
And Yannick Ferreira Carrasco also handed Simeone a fitness boost, with the Belgian - who has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury in the victory at Getafe in mid-February - training as normal and being given the medical all-clear.
Carrasco is in contention to make his return from the sidelines against Valencia, with only Tiago Mendes and Stefan Savic now left on the Atleti treatment table.
