Jesé Rodríguez spoke to beIN Sports pitchside after their 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg in the Volkswagen Arena:
What happened?: "They're a strong team here, it is possible for teams to lose here. We tried, the Bernabéu is still to come, with the help of our fans we're going to turn this tie around".
The team went downhill after the penalty...: "The challenge on Bale was also a penalty but the ref didn't blow for that one, those are the breaks during the game, we have to pick ourselves up as a team and I'm sure that with our fans we're going to do it".
The team was poor defensively: "In the end we win and lose as a team, I don't think the team's below par, we played a huge match at Camp Nou, this was a different match. They're a great team, we have to think about the mistakes, analyse the negatives and try to improve. We can all do much better. We have to analyse the game, the errors, we're people, professionals, we can make mistakes, win lose, it's all part of the game."
A message for the fans: "In the Bernabéu we're going to play for our lives, for the fans and for ourselves".
