Katia Aveiro turned to Twitter to needle Barcelona at the end of the Atletico Madrid - Barca match that saw the holders crash out in the quarter finals, calling Piqué a "clown" and a "bigmouth".
Wearing her Real Madrid jersey, Cristiano's sister Katia Aveiro fired a broadside at Barcelona on Twitter minutes after the blaugrana's Champions League campaign came to an end at the Calderon:
"Everything can change in a second. Today it's celebrations and tomorrow commiserations. That's sport."
Her next Tweet was much more direct, and clearly aimed at Gerard Piqué:
"You, the one who talks too much, I just want to tell you something: EVERYTHING STARTED WITH YOU! Any predictions for the Champions' League? #Whataclown #Bigmouth"
It's not the first time Aveiro has done some slinging on social media, taking aim at Piqué's penchant for Periscope after Real Madrid's Clásico win at Camp Nou:
"I wonder if Gerard Piqué will be doing a Periscope today? It all started with you, no?", she Tweeted after her brother had sealed a valuable victory with a late goal.
