Zidane takes his full squad to Manchester, including Benzema
On board the flight were the 23-man squad today with Cristiano and Benzema included for the game against City but they are both still doubts.
Zinedine Zidane wants to have the option of selecting from his full compliment of players for the Champions League game against Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City and today they all travelled to England for the first leg. Although still recovering from injuries picked up recently, both Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo were on the flight but are likely to be doubts right up until the starting 11 are confirmed. Knowing the importance of the game, they want to play their part at the Etihad Stadium.
The two stars who could be vital to the progression of the Madrid side will be continually assessed and will show what condition they are in during training later today in the stadium. Also returning to the squad is the full back Dani Carvajal who was rested for the Rayo game.

Defence: Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Carvajal, Arbeloa, Danilo.
Midfield: Kroos, James, Bale, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Isco.
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Lucas Vázquez, Jesé, Mayoral.
