Modric joins Bale, Keylor and Carvajal in the Madrid sick-bay

Croatian international Luka Modric has been ruled out of today's game at the Bernabéu against Valencia as a result of a muscular problem. The midfielder was withdrawn from the team squad this afternoon and his place will be taken by Isco, Kovacic or James.
“Luka Modric will not play against Valencia at the Santiago Bernabéu. The midfield player, as a precautionary measure has been removed from the squad due to slight muscular pain" was the wording via the official medical bulletin issued by the club.
Zidane is in mind to push his players with the Champions League final in Milan looming at the end of the month optimum on the coach's mind. Modric was taken off in the 87th minute of Wednesday's champions League game against Manchester City. Modric joins Dani Carvajal, Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale. None of the four cited players are reported to be carrying serious injuries and are all expected to available to Zidane for the Milan final.
