James: "We feel a little restless but that's a good thing"

Nacho: "We've spent the whole season working towards this. We have to win the Champions League for what this badge signifies. Atlético? They're tough rivals".

Update:
James: "We feel a little restless but that's a good thing"

James spoke to Realmadrid TV on Open Media Day to give his views on this weekend's Champions League final against Atlético. Nacho and Toni Kroos also spoke to the club's official television channel.

The final: “It's a one-off game, there is a feeling of anxiety but it's good to feel that way - it's normal. It's a unique game and we want it to be special. If you didn't feel restless, the you probably don't feel anything. We're fine, we're training hard, we are looking forward to this game and dreaming. I really hope we can win this Champions League which would be a unique occasion and one which would make evryone happy”.

The fans: “They always support us, they're always there for us. No one can match them as fans and in the games when we really then to push us, they do. They'll be another factor in our favour and will be encouraging us to battle for every ball. They're very important to us”

Nacho:"We're really up for this"

The team's emotional state: “We're really keen to win it again. We've got a few days to go before the final and we hope to do the best we can. We're really up for this. We're relaxed and keen to give a good impression”.

The Final: “It's special for all we experienced when we won 'La Décima' - what a spectacular night that was. To go through that moment again would be fantastic. With that goal by Ramos… and the minute he scored it, that was amazing. We have to go all out to win another trophy for what this badge means - we've spent the whole season working towards this”.

Atlético: “We know all about Atlético, and it's going to be complicated; I don't expect there will be a lot of goals. We have to focus on ourselves and the game will develop and unravel in its own way”.

Kroos: "We've been working with a lot of intensity"

The team's moment of form: "That's really important, after our last league game, it was important to get straight down to training hard. We're all up for this, and physically we are in good shape - as we have been for the past few months. I can't wait for the final. It'll be a very difficult game, they play as a solid unit, and we'll have to do the same".

Atlético's style: "It's a compliment when people say someone plays as a team and the fact that they've reached two finals in three years says a lot about them. They knocked out Barça and Bayern... They deserve to be in the final for their style of play. They'll be trying to hit us on the break and we have to concentrate on our game, but also what to expect from them; they usually play in the same way but knowing that doesn't guarantee you anything - we've go to go out there and play well, and go out to win"

Zidane. "We've been enjoying our football since he arrived in January. We've improved and it was just the change we needed. It was important for us to each this final. He's doing an excellent job - he won all of the finals he was involved in as a player and that helps us a lot".

Message to the fans: “Come to Milan or the Bernabéu and help us”
