Cristiano will sign three-year contract extension next week

Cristiano Ronaldo will amplify his stay with Real Madrid by three years, signing a new contract whcih will take him to 2021, Spanish radio Cadena SER reported on Wednesday evening; La SER add that the contract extension will be signed by the player and Florentino Pérez after Saturday's Champions League final in Milan. Cristiano has decided that he wants to retire playing at Real Madrid. Conversations between his agent, Jorge Mendes and the club began in February with a view to review his contract which will expeire when he is 36. "I really am happy and I want to stay at this club because I don't see any club which is better than Real Madrid. If you weigh everything up, there's nowhere better", he told Jugones this afternoon "Everyone should just forget about it. Because Real Madrid is the best", he added.

It will be Cristiano's second contract extension with Real Madrid. He amplified his professional relationship with the club tio June 2018 on 15 September 2013. "If you are at the top, you want to stay there. And Madrid is the top in football. For me thios club is the biggest there is, I'm extremely happy", the No.7 said on that occasion. Judging by his declarations earlier today, he hasn't changed his opinion since.
