Serie A club Juventus have not included Paul Pogba in material published on social media in recent days, which could indicate that a long-mooted move is imminent. Real Madrid and Manchester United have both expressed an interest in the France international, who joined Juve from Old Trafford in 2012.

Juventus are currently on a pre-season tour in Australia, with the club’s European Championship players still on holiday. The club changed their Twitter header during the week to reflect the side that has travelled down under, leaving absentees including Pogba off the image.

With André Gomes having moved to Barcelona, Zinedine Zidane is eager to land a star signing this summer and will renew his efforts to sign his compatriot. For his part, José Mourinho has stated that United have other targets as well as Pogba, in an indication that the Portuguese will not wait forever for an answer from the player on a return to Manchester.
