On Thursday, Susana Monje, Barça's vice-president, broke down the payments which the Spanish champions have received from sponsors for next season's kit. Qatar paid €35m, Beko €8.8m and Nike, the manufacturer who makes the kit, a whopping €85m (whose deal also covers the 2017-18 season).
The total figure of €128.8m will go up to €155m from 2018-19 onward, revealed Monje. "We have the most expensive shirt in the world," she boasted.
