Who is Real Madrid's Mariano?
Real Madrid's youngsters getting chances in the USA
The pre-season tends to be the ideal stage on which the youngsters who are itching to break through can start to show their skills shoulder to shoulder with the stars of the first team. And on Real Madrid's summer tour of the USA this year it's no different, with several players who came up through the ranks at the Real Madrid training ground in Valdebebas getting decent playing time, particularly with some of the biggest names still to come back after the European Championships: Bale and Cristiano among them.
Real Madrid's Mariano made the most of his chance against Chelsea
Mariano Díaz has just finished an outstanding season with Real Madrid Castilla. He's a powerful striker, fast, physical and a born finisher. He's got a superb long range shot, is a great header of the ball and decent at free-kicks. He showed what he's got with his stunning goal yesterday in Real Madrid's win over Chelsea. He's always got one aim: the goal, and is ready to cock the hammer in a flash.
Mariano is a star of the future
It's almost certain that Mariano will need to seek a loan deal to take his career to the next level, given the strikers Real Madrid have in the first team squad, but I've got no doubt that the name Mariano will is a future star.
