Raiola buys Al Capone mansion after Pogba transfer windfall
The French player's agent has bought a villa in Miami that was once owned by the famous gangster for seven million pounds, reports say.
According to the Daily Mail, the football agent Mino Raiola has purchased a villa in Miami that used to belong to gangster Al Capone.
Players under the "super" agent include Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Lukaku and Balotelli who have all been involved in large transfer fees, with a sizable cut going to Raiola. This has allowed him to now own the property made famous by the leader of the Chicago mafia during the first half of the last century. In the latest big money move for one of his players - Paul Pogba's world record transfer to Manchester United - the agent reportedly received 25 million euros in commission.
Al Capone lived in the villa between 1928 and 1947 and Raiola has paid seven million pounds (just over eight million euros) to have it as one of his many assets.
