Ramos attempts to con referee

But what didn't go unnoticed was that Sergio Ramos tried the same trick he succeeded with against Espanyol in Sunday's LaLiga match, when he blocked a shot, outside the box this time, and went down clutching his face. On that occasion his instant acting managed to convince the referee that he hadn't handled the ball, doubly important then because he was already on a yellow card and would almost certainly have been sent off.

Referee wise to Ramos' antics

And tonight against Villarreal Ramos again went down clutching his face after handling the ball, but this time the referee, González González, had spotted exactly what had happened and pointed to the spot, before booking Ramos.
