Toronto FC, New York Red Bulls and New York City FC all punched their tickets to the postseason Saturday as the Major League Soccer playoff field begins to take shape.
The three clubs join the Western Conference-leading FC Dallas, who became the first MLS team to secure a playoff spot last weekend.

By virtue of the Red Bulls 1-0 win over the Montreal Impact, the three front-running teams in the Eastern Conference are now playoff bound.

Toronto played a 1-1 draw with Philadelphia on Saturday as the Canadian squad are in the postseason for just the second time in 10 years. Toronto seem to have finally turned a corner as they failed to qualify in its first eight years of existence.

It's the first-ever postseason in New York City FC history as it comes in just their second MLS season with Red Bulls making their seventh playoff appearance in 21 years.

NYCFC have now gone 13 straight MLS games without a loss whilst city rivals, Red Bulls haven't dropped a league game since being blanked 2-0 by New York City FC on July 3.

Five-time MLS Cup champions Los Angeles Galaxy also have a shot at making the postseason if they can beat the Seattle Sounders on Sunday.
