Fans plan protest of Materazzi with Zinedine Zidane masks
The Indian Super League club want to protest Materazi's involvement in a fight with a Blaster's player and will do so by distributing 35,000 Zidane masks when they face each other next.

Fans of Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League plan to protest Marco Materazzi's involvement in a scuffle between the Blasters' Kervens Belfort and Chennaiyin's (Materazzi's team) Manuele Blasi last month by wearing masks of Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
The 35,000 masks will be distributed and worn during the clash between the two teams when they face each other on Saturday November 12th.
The World Cup winner was banned for one game for the incident but the Blasters' fans are not happy and believe this should be brought to the attention of the world and the Indian Super League.

“We want to send a message to the coach (Materazzi). And we thought long and hard about how we can do it as fans sitting in the stands. We want to protest against the violence but want to do it as peacefully as possible,” said Hadhi.
Materazzi and Zinedine Zidane will be forever linked due to the latter's headbutt on the Italian during the 2006 World Cup final. It would be the last professional football game that the Frenchman would ever play.
