However, Dani Carvajal got a bit carried away in the ensuing celebrations and aimed his middle finger at a section of Barcelona supporters, a response that was picked up by the cameras in Camp Nou.
Carvajal apology
The defender later apologised on his Twitter account: “I would like to apologise for the gesture I made towards a section of the stands in response to insults. It is something that should not be done.”
