Juan Iturbe and Iago Falque: Torino capture Roma pair
The Turin-based outfit have made Falque's loan from the Giallorossi permanent, with Iturbe joining the club on a six-month loan.
Torino have signed Roma's Juan Iturbe on loan and exercised their purchase option on fellow Giallorossi player Iago Falque.
Option to buy Iturbe at end of season
Forward Iturbe moves on a six-month deal after failing to impress at Roma, on the same day Torino agreed to buy Spaniard Falque, already on loan at the club since the summer.
No financial details of the deals were released, although reports suggested it would cost Torino 12.5 million euros to buy Paraguay international Iturbe, 23, outright.
A statement by Torino said: "Torino Football Club announces the signing of Juan Iturbe from Roma on a loan deal with the option to buy."
Roma said Iturbe would be tied to Torino until "June 30, 2017 with the option to buy the player definitively".
"Roma has also agreed to sell to Torino Iago Falque on a permanent basis," it added.
Falque loan made permanent for reported six million
Falque, a former Spain Under-21 attacker who had unsuccessful spells at Premier League clubs Tottenham and Southampton, is reported to have cost Torino six million euros.
Iturbe joined Roma for 22m euros in 2014 while the club was under the helm of Frenchman Rudi Garcia but he fell out of favour under current boss Luciano Spalletti.
He was sent to Bournemouth on a six-month loan in January 2016 but made just two appearances for the Premier League side.
"He's a complete attacking player who is great on the wing as well," said Torino president Urbano Cairo.
