Koné and Zongo in Burkina Faso Africa Cup of Nations squad

Burkina Faso coach Paulo Duarte has announced his 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon from 14 January 14 to 5 February.

Málaga centre-back Bakary Koné and Almería winger Jonathan Zongo have been included in the 23-man Burkina Faso squad which coach Paulo Duarte announced for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. in Gabon from January 14 to February 5.

Defenders Ernest Congo and Issoumaila Lengani were dropped from the initial, perliminary 25-man team which was named at the end of last month.

Burkina Faso, drawn in Group A along with tournament hosts Gabon, Cameroon and Guinea-Bissau, continue their preparation with a friendly against Mali on Saturday.
