Granada midfielder Rene Krhin in talks with Birmingham City
Lucas Alcaraz confirmed that they are negotiating with the Championship side for the Slovenian midfielder who hasn't played a single minute under the new coach.

Granada midfielder Rene Krhin is negociating a move to Birmingham City, coach Lucas Alcaraz confirmed in Friday's press conference. The Slovenian has not figured at all since Alcaraz was enlisted as Granada coach at the start of October. Krhin moved to Granada in the summer of 2015 from Inter Milan, signing a four-year contract with the Spanish side. He made 24 appearances last season and just five this season - his last, in the 0-1 defeat to Leganés in Week 7, just two days before Alcaraz took charge. His departure will mean another high earner off the wage bill but Granada need to offload one more squad member before they can make any reinforcements in the winter window.
