Valencia enter the fray for Jesé
The LaLiga outfit have entered the contest to acquire the PSG striker on a loan move which could thwart a move back to his native Las Palmas.
Valencia are the latest club to express an interest in acquiring the services of Jesé Rodríguez. The Mediterranean based side are desperate to reinforce their forward line in the winter market and this latest interest could jeopardise the potential moved back to his native Gran Canaria and spell with hometown side UD Las Palmas.
PSG are anxious to find a new home for the Canary Islander who has struggled in Ligue 1. The forward has played nine league games (261 minutes) for the Parisian side and only managed to notch one goal in that time. PSG coach Unai Emery is also anxious for the player to seek playing time elsewhere with Las Palmas, Roma, Liverpool and AC Milán all expressing an interest in taking the striker on loan through to the end of the current season.
Valencia were initialling interested in Italian forward Zaza (currently at West Ham on loan from Juventus) but following Cesare Prandelli's resignation coupled with sporting director García Pitarch throwing in the towel this weekend at Mestalla the move is now up in the air.Valencia owner Peter Lim is said to be an admirer of Jesé's and the interest from the Singapore businessman could be the key factor in Jesé donning the white shirt of Valencia come the end of the month of January.
