Boro move for Jesé

The former Real Madrid forward has plenty of suitors and now another case of a former coach seeking a reunion with an old acquaintance could see Jesé in line for a move to Middlesbrough, coached by erstwhile Bernabéu assistant boss Aitor Karanka, with Le Parisien reporting that the Basque is eager to reinforce his strike options with a move for the 23-year-old.

Chelsea consider Llorente

Llorente has also emerged as a target for Premier League leaders Chelsea. The striker played under Antonio Conte at Juventus and wasted little time in describing the Italian technician as the best he has ever worked with when UK media reported interest from Stamford Bridge.

If that move were to prosper, Michy Batshuayi would probably be moved out on loan just six months after joining Chelsea from Marseille for a fee of around 40 million euros. Swansea are thought to be open to a swap deal involving the Belgium international and Llorente, but Chelsea also have an offer from West Ham for the striker’s services with the Irons in desperate need of additional firepower.
