The Madrid squad left for business this morning at 11:00 local time to catch a flight from Barajas airport. When they land in Vigo they will head directly to the Hotel Pazo de los Escudos.

Experience door opens

With so many players missing, tonight could be the chance for Enzo Zidane and Achraf to grab a headline or two. They have both been included in the travelling squad of 19 players although more for experience and are unlikely to see any pitch time.

Losing a third of yourself

Recent analysis of Transfermarkt, the website specialising in keeping track of players' values among other elements, has shown a marked drop in that of James Rodriguez. In the last 12 months his valuation has fallen from 80 million euros to 50 million. Even with the trophy haul that Cristiano Ronaldo had in 2016, he too has seen his perceived value fall.
