The iconic terraced end was forced to close after a section of the home fans subjected visiting Leipzig fans to a torrent of verbal and even physical abuse when the newly promoted side visited the Signal Iduna Arena in early February.

Club response

Dortmund officials issued an open apology to visiting fans and vowed to track down the perpetrators of the trouble.
